Question 1

What happens in a coaching session?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are 60 minutes and follow your lead — a mix of deep conversation, reflection exercises, and practical tools. Afterwards, you'll receive an in-depth summary email with next steps, worksheets, and book recommendations.

Question 2

What tools and methodologies do you use?

Accepted Answer

I draw from a range of evidence-based coaching tools and frameworks, tailored to each client. These include the Wheel of Life, Stoppers & Drivers (from Transactional Analysis), the Energy Diary, Circle of Control, personality testing, and values exploration exercises.

Question 3

What's included with paid sessions?

Accepted Answer

All paid sessions include dedicated WhatsApp support between sessions, in-depth summary emails with next steps, personalised worksheets, and book recommendations tailored to your journey.

Question 4

Do I need to commit to multiple sessions?

Accepted Answer

No commitment required. Single 60-minute sessions suit a specific problem; the monthly subscription adds weekly sessions plus up to 30 minutes of ad-hoc video support for sustained change. Custom packages are available for specific challenges or corporate / team clients on request.

Question 5

Are you a therapist or a coach?

Accepted Answer

I'm a qualified coach and counsellor — which means I can explore both the past and the future with you. However, I do not diagnose disorders or pathology. I hold a Coach/Counsellor Practitioner Diploma from The ACC and am working toward ICF registration, with ongoing supervision.

Question 6

Do you coach online or in person?

Accepted Answer

I currently prefer online sessions via video call. I can also coach in person in Haarlem — either at a location of your choice or at my home, depending on availability.

Question 7

What if I'm not sure this is for me?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly what the free intro call is for. A relaxed 30-minute video call. No commitment, just a conversation to see what your expectations are and if we're a fit.

Question 8

I'm not in crisis — is coaching still for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Most of my clients aren't in crisis — they're high achievers who look like they have it all together but feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. Coaching is for anyone ready to stop performing and start living.

Question 9

What if I'm in crisis or need urgent support?

Accepted Answer

Coaching is not suitable for crisis situations. If you are experiencing acute psychological distress, suicidal thoughts, or are at risk of harm, please contact your GP, emergency services (112), or a qualified mental health professional. Question 10

What's your cancellation & late policy?

Accepted Answer

I ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you're running late, I'll wait 15 minutes before considering it a no-show. Life happens — I'm flexible, but repeated no-shows may be charged.

Stop waiting to feel ready. Start building.
